David J Severn is a 4 time Licentiateship holder, in weddings & portraits, sport,

wildlife and Fashion & Glamour.

With a Distiction from The Photographic Alliance, an Excellence from Photographic de Internationale,

 alongside an APAGB for services to photography he's put in the ground

work shooting anything and everything.

Now after a mini stroke (recovered well) he is concentrating on shooting the style

of imagery shown on this site, providing services, tuition, events and workshops .

His own continuous professional development includes monthly sessions with his mentor

and weekly evaluation of images.

His view of photography is it should be fun, most take pictures for a hobby, hours of work

at a computer is often stressful so lets make the image taking easy. Many of the images on this

website have not had any manipulation, which resulted in him being

nominated as the In Camera Artistry Photographer of The Year, came down to a toss of a coin.

His wife Pamela has been involved at the studio for a number of years, her use of colour

and her creativity makes them quite a team.

Her background as a writer and her passion for antiques and clothes, for which she has

online stores and space in an centre for antique dealers.
